Invite Presidential Candidates to the MoveOn.org Virtual Town Hall on Climate

Invite Presidential Candidates to the MoveOn.org Virtual Town Hall Meeting on Climate

Our second Virtual Town Hall Meeting with the presidential candidates will focus on the climate crisis. The candidates will answer questions from MoveOn members, and then we'll vote on which candidate will do the best job stopping global warming. On July 7, we'll gather at Parties for the Planet across the country to preview the candidate's responses and watch Al Gore's Live Earth concerts. A few days later, voting will begin. But first, invite the candidates you most want to hear from below.

1 Your contact information
*Your Name (*=Required)

*E-mail

Your Street Address

City

State or Province

*ZIP or Postal Code

*Phone

2 Which candidates would you like to invite?

We encourage you to pick just a couple candidates you really want to hear from most. Because there's diversity of opinion among MoveOn members, if everyone chooses a couple, we'll end up with 6 or 7 candidates.

If you want to see what the candidates say about climate change before you vote, we’ve created a page with excerpts from their websites. Clicking on any candidate's name will bring you directly to their position, where available.

Do you want to ask a video question for the candidates to answer during the virtual town hall meeting?

You may check boxes to invite as many candidates as you like. We will invite any candidate who gets support from at least 10% of respondents to this survey. Candidates included are those listed as running or establishing exploratory committees by the New York Times. Links from each candidate's name will open their official website in a new window. Links from each candidate's name will open directly to their position on the climate crisis where available. The survey will remain open until Monday night at midnight, PDT. Only the last response from each person will be counted.
