Before the Event

Register your delivery in our ONLINE SYSTEM.

Read the HOST GUIDE thoroughly to plan for your event.

Use the ATTENDEE RECRUIT SCRIPT to invite people to come to the delivery. *Updated*

Have a PREP CALL with other Council Core members, and use this agenda. *Updated*

Print the local ONLINE PETITION SIGNATURES to include in your delivery. These will be posted on your Host Tools Page. We'll email you when that's ready!

Use these MEDIA MATERIALS to reach out to local media:

  • Media guide - A helpful start-to-finish guide on how to contact local media.
  • Press advisory - A customizable press advisory to send to local reporters.
  • Reporter script - For phone calls to reporters, asking them to cover your delivery.
  • Talking points - Simple suggestions for talking to the press and other volunteers about this campaign.

Print several SIGN-IN SHEETS. Use these as people arrive at the event.

If you're having a big event and inviting media to your delivery instead of just doing a simple drop-off, print some SIGNS. Here are several options to choose from: *Updated*

After the Event

Fill out the EVENT SURVEY. This survey lets us know how the event went and points to areas to improve for future actions. (We'll email you the link!)
