Opponents of health care reform know that a public health insurance option is now likely to be part of any final legislation. So they're working to make it as weak as possible.

The members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus are fighting back by drawing a clear line in the sand: They will only support a bill if it includes a strong public health insurance option. "Strong" means that it:

Helps cover all of us,
And comes into effect as soon as possible.
