A new 60-second radio ad released today targets Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) for her opposition to the public option that President Obama supports. Over two-thirds of Americans support this key piece of reform, which would give Americans the choice of a public health insurance option that would lower costs and help ensure everyone has the quality affordable health care they deserve.

The ad, by MoveOn.org Political Action, reminds Senator Landrieu’s constituents of the $1.6 million she has taken from the health care industry—the same industry leading the fight against a public health insurance option.
