Would you join a house meeting to decide our policy towards Iraq?

We are considering a plan for coming to consensus on the MoveOn policy towards Iraq. We want to know what you think.

Here's the plan:

  • We would produce a DVD with some background information on Iraq, and some expert arguments for and against a date-certain phased withdrawal as the best current option.

  • MoveOn members hold house meetings, watch DVD together, discuss the issue, and vote.

  • If supporting the amendment and the phased withdrawal policy wins the online vote, it becomes the official MoveOn position we will join the fight accordingly.
