Tampa Protest

President Bush is coming to Tampa this Friday, July 16 for a Department of Justice conference on sex trafficking. We will be there to demand that he apologize to conference participants and to the public for breaking his promises to America’s women.

To be able to plan our protest and media tactics effectively, it is important for us to know if you will be joining us.

Yes, I will be joining the MoveOn contingent at the protest on Friday, July 16 th at 8:30am in front of the Tampa Marriot Waterside Hotel, 700 S. Florida Ave. [map]

Yes, I will attend the media training for MoveOn members on Thursday, July 15 at 7pm at the office of America Coming Together (ACT) at 3701 W. Cherry St. in Tampa (813-350-9007). [map]

If you want to help make signs, just drop by any time between 5pm and 9PM on Thursday, July 15, at the ACT office above. [map]

No, I can’t come to the protest, but I’d like some information that I can use to call into local radio talk shows or write a letter to the editor
