Get Out The Vote Call Party

Get Out The Vote Call Party

This is it. In just a matter of days, we'll know if our president for the next four years will fight for the 99% or will only represent the 1%. And it all comes down to which side can make more phone calls, knock on more doors, and turn out more voters where it matters the most.

George W. Bush beat John Kerry in 2004 because he had a better ground game in Ohio. He won that state by 118,000 votes--enough to take the election. We cannot let that happen again, in Ohio or in any other battleground state where MoveOn members and our allies are working to turn out the progressive vote. To win, we have to out-hustle the GOP on the ground by doing whatever it takes to get more volunteers knocking on more doors and persuading more swing state voters to turn out and vote for Obama.

That's why it's critical that as many MoveOn members as possible come to Get Out The Vote call parties on November 3rd and 4th--the last weekend before Election Day. Hosting a call party either day is great--but we want to have as many parties as possible on Saturday, November 3rd, so that we can recruit volunteers to knock on doors on Sunday and help get out the vote where it matters the most.
