'Will Work for Clean Energy'

On October 2, the day the federal unemployment rate will be announced, we're organizing symbolic unemployment lines in front of the offices of U.S. Senators who are still undecided on President Obama's clean energy jobs plan.

With unemployment nearing double digits, America can't afford to wait for the 1.7 million jobs that would be created by President Obama's clean energy jobs plan.

You don't have to be personally unemployed to participate—the line is symbolic. We'll line up holding signs, and some people will even wear Depression-era hats and coats.
