Message from your host, Dan I.: For months pundits have been saying that that public option is dead. But we kept organizing and versions of the Public Option are included in both versions of the House and Senate bill. The House is expected to vote by Veterans Day and the Senate will take up the bill thereafter. Republicans will...(more) try and filibuster the bill, so we will need 60 votes in the Senate. We are down to the wire and we need a final push to line up the votes to win.

Join us on Nov. 13 for a healthcare rally thanking Congressman Wexler for his strong support of healthcare reform. Partners such as SEIU will be involved.

The event will feature speakers at the UU Church in Boca Raton. After the speakers, will we walk as a group to the corner of St. Andrews and Glades Road for a traditional honk and wave. Local media invited. Event is from 12 to 1 p.m.
