Clean Energy Jobs Day - to demonstrate the promise of the Clean Energy Economy to Congress, the media, and the public.
We will have a tour including:
2:30pm: Solar PV array in the Nature Consevancy (http://www.nature.org...(more)/) PineBush Preserve at 195 New Karner Rd Colonie installed by Alteris (http://alterisinc.com)
3:30pm: Solar PV installation underway by Renewable Power Systems (http://rpspower.com) - at 196 Boght Rd Watervliet
4:30pm: Solar Hot Water Heater installation by Albany Renewable Solar Energy (http://www.albanysolarenergy.com/) at 20 Boght Rd Watervliet
Speakers will include Laura Draiss of Albany Renewable Solar Energy, Dennis Phayre of Renewable Power Systems, Jim Devine of WindowTherm in Hoosick (http://www.windotherm.com), Scott Rakowski of Alteris, & Rodney Wilkshire of the Empire Solar store in Troy (http://www.empiresolarstore.com/). Doug Bullock of the Albany County Legislature will speak; other elected officials are being invited.
