Host an Iraq and Recession Report Release

Thanks for hosting an event to release the groundbreaking new "Iraq and Recession Report." The report is based on new polling that shows that voters strongly believe that the Iraq war is hurting us at home too. This is an important message, and it's critical that we remind voters what's really at stake in this election.

Choose your location carefully. The best option would be a Senate office, but you could also hold your event at a very visible public location like an intersection or park. We'll provide you with everything else you need to make your event a success.

Things you need to host this event:

The most important part of hosting is choosing your location. The best option would be a Senate office, but you could also hold your event at a very visible public location. We'll suggest other locations and guidelines in the guide.

Once you've signed up, we'll give you a list of materials to print out and copy. All you'll need is access to a printer.

I have (or can get access to) the things I need to host this event. *

Host Ground Rules

We have tried to provide all the information you will need on our website (more information is available after you post your event). We will work hard to review all questions that are emailed to us and answer them quickly.

By creating an event, you are agreeing to serve as the host of the event. Your responsibilities as host include:

  • Arranging that all the necessary materials are brought to the event (you can ask other participants for help).
  • Contacting and communicating with the people who participate in your event. We will encourage attendees not to attend an event where the host has not confirmed their participation.
  • Filing a quick post-meeting report.
