Because we're thanking those representatives who voted for the health care bill, calling out those who voted against it, and asking our senators to keep fighting or get out of the way depending on their previous statements on the health care bill, your media materials may be different than those for a nearby congressional district or state -- so make sure you download the appropriate materials for your Council. Follow these guidelines to download the appropriate media materials:

• If you have a health care champion in the House of Representatives:

  • SIGNS: Download our large boxing gloves graphic, encouraging champs to keep fighting for the public option, and follow the instructions there on getting a local printer to print it at a large size for you. You can also present actual physical boxing gloves to your target.

• If you're in a state with a Senate swing vote (CT, IN, LA, ME, MT, NE, ND and AR):

• SIGNS: Download our new "Whose side are you on?" graphic and follow the instructions there on getting a local printer to print it at a large size for you. You can also print out a letter-size version on your home printer.

• Everywhere else:

If you don't have a health care champ in the House, and you're not in one of the states listed above, use these materials:

• SIGNS: The main focus in most places will be lots of signs supporting the public option. You are also encouraged to make handmade signs that name your senator and say "We're counting on you" (for supportive senators) or "Whose side are you on?" (for swings and oppositional senators). (You'll be targeting your representative but we also want to use these events to call on senators to vote the right way.) Finally, our partners at HCAN & SEIU may bring scorecard visuals to the event, showing whether your target voted right or wrong on the bill.
