What Other MoveOn Members Are Hearing

I spoke directly with his office and asked that the Senator NOT MAKE ANY DEALS that will compromise our social security OR medicare benefits! I said as hard as it would be, I would rather let the tax cuts expire rather than compromise these EARNED BENEFITS!! Please do NOT hold the middle class' benefits hostage just to "protect" the very wealthy of this nation!!!

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 07:17:36

Spoke with staffer, who will "submit my comments" to the Senator.

— Skokie, 2012-12-18 07:29:35

No substantive response from Durbin's staff - indicated that this was Obama's deal.

— Sunnyside, 2012-12-18 07:30:55

Just took the message.

— Chatham, 2012-12-18 07:32:15

The Senator's office was very nice in dealing with my call asking him to oppose cuts in Social Security !!

— Woodridge, 2012-12-18 07:33:30

His office said "He hasn't made any statement on the current situation". My guess is that Mr. Durbin will do everything in his power to advance Mr. Obama's insane Grand Bargin. That's why I voted for Jill Stein. Time to primary Mr. Durbin from the left.

— Evanston, 2012-12-18 07:33:48

The aide said, "I will give him that message."

— Rockton, 2012-12-18 07:34:43

The person who answered said they would pass on my comments to not cut Soc Sec benefits to Sen. Durbin.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 07:35:54

Only that he would give the Senator the message

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 07:42:23

Social Security and Medicare are EARNED BENEFITS, not entitlements! SO stop calling them entitlements. I EARNED THEM. I am 64 and have paid into SS and Medicare for more than 40 years. Cut defense spending. Cut your retirement. Cut your health care. What's good for seniors and the disabled is good for you too. I don't hear you talking about your benefits. NO GRAND BARGAIN! The GOP is taking this country down to 3rd world status. Obama won, running on tax hikes. The GOP lost. GET IT? I don't care if Boehner needs to save face, too bad. I did not wait in line several hours to vote for Obama just to have Obama or the Democrats cave in to the GOP, as usual. If you Democrats sell out the middle class, then you are worse than the TeaParty. GROW A SPINE -- NO GRAND BARGAIN -- NO CUTS TO SS -- NO CUTS TO MEDICARE

— , 2012-12-18 07:44:30

A lady thanked me for calling!

— La Grng Pk, 2012-12-18 07:56:39

My message will be delivered to the Senator. We need to get to the President to let him know this is not acceptable and this is not what he ran on if we go over the fical cliff then we all go together. Stop this madnedss and the Republicans now!

— wheaton, 2012-12-18 08:02:52

A gentleman answered the phone and I asked if I can count on senator Durbin to not make deals with Social Security & he replied! "I don't have a statement for that, but I can certainly pass your concerns along to him."

— Fulton, 2012-12-18 08:04:48

Non committal response.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 08:06:04

The response was that he would give him the message.

— Country Club Hills, 2012-12-18 08:07:11

he has not made a statement yet

— Roselle, 2012-12-18 08:09:45

They will pass on the message. The argument I gave was that in his home state, retirees are going to face higher property taxes as politicians are attempting to cut state employee pensions and throw those payments back on the local communities.

— Charleston, 2012-12-18 08:10:59

lines must have been busy, I got his voice mail and left a message. Thanks MoveOn for all you are doing

— Lake in the Hills, 2012-12-18 08:12:52

left a message for the Senator as per your printed sentence

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 08:17:04

The staff member stated that Senator Durbin has publicly stated that he does not support cuts to social security or medicare. I asked if he would actively oppose the president if he were to propose such cuts and the staffer indicated that Senator Durbin would work to ensure that there would be no cuts to these programs.

— Glenview, 2012-12-18 08:17:57

I spoke to a staffer and referenced Pres. Obama's latest offer to speaker Boehner. I said that so called "entitlements" that people have worked hard for should not be bargained away for the sake of the wealthy.

— chicago, 2012-12-18 08:19:47

Left a message with his phone man.

— Peoria, 2012-12-18 08:21:48

— Wood River, 2012-12-18 08:27:47

Said they would give him the message

— Sidney, 2012-12-18 08:27:54

During the Reagan era, social security was cut 40% for many Americans after they had paid full premiums for these benefits. My ss benefits were below $1,000 per month when the cut was made. Please give us back what has already been taken before discussing further cuts. This country must deal fairl with all its citizens in order to continue prospering.

— Matteson, 2012-12-18 08:31:10

Spoke with a aide who said since the President has not come out with a statement Durbin has nothing to say yet. I told this fellow about the frustration I have that the president is beginning to cave. I am angry with what I have heard in the press. Please we need to get the word out how unhappy the Obama base is and the Dems in the House and Senate have to hold our ground. DO NOT MAKE THIS DEAL WITH THE REPUBLICAN LEACHES.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 08:32:15

— Elmwood Park, 2012-12-18 08:55:46

Spoke to staffer, asked if Durbin would oppose cuts. Staffer said he didn't know Durbin's plans but would tell the senator. Staffer sounded harried, which probably means they are getting lots of calls about this.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 08:56:50

Please do not negotiate away our benefits. We payed for SS and Medicare. The rich have used their money to get exceptional tax breaks that now have to be paid for with our hard earned benefits. We have very little say and no money to make our wishes known.

— Woodridge, 2012-12-18 08:58:24

Staffer will submit my comments to the Senator.

— Hoffman Estates, 2012-12-18 09:01:01

Dear Senator Durbin, I'm a Republican, please do everything possible to stop this deal! Seniors have worked hard and paid into this program, and their benefits should not be cut! James D. Grant, 412 Walnut St., Joliet, IL 60432 Thankyou! E-Mail: jdgrant47@att.net PH: 1-(815)-603-9731

— Joliet, 2012-12-18 09:03:52

Talked to an aide and he said he'd pass my message on to Senator Durbin to NOT include ANY cuts or changes to Social Security in the "fiscal cliff" deal that's being negotiated because Social Security has not contributed to the deficit and will not be a problem for MANY years to come, and it shouldn't be used as a "chip" in the game the Republicans are playing to try to balance the budget and pay for their wars and deficit on the backs of America's seniors.

— Troy, 2012-12-18 09:03:59

spoke to an aide. Will pass the message along

— Glenview, 2012-12-18 09:04:14

Secretary had no answer to Sen. Durbin's stance on the most recent developments, but took my information and said she would report it to him.

— Vienna, 2012-12-18 09:05:47

I was initially put on hold and then told by a stafer that Senator Durbin "has not made a comment" on the new deal being negotiated between the president and the speaker. Further, the girl who answered the phone was rushed and mumbled her first response to my call. I asked her to repeat what she said and stated "I'll submit your comments to the Senator." This is all very frustrating. But, I guess we all anticipated something like this.

— Winfield, 2012-12-18 09:05:54

Staffer said Durbin is definitely opposed to cuts in Social Security.

— Champaign, 2012-12-18 09:06:10

Senator Durban hasn't yet responded to the specifics being attributed to Obama's reported willingness to reduce cost of living adjustments to Social Security.

— Riverwoods, 2012-12-18 09:16:17

I spoke to the person who answered his phone; she said he has made "no comments" regarding this issue as their is no final deal on the table. She asked me if I'd like to make a comment to submit to him and I did register my opposition to any deal that would include cuts to seniors' benefits, noting that there are certainly many areas in which spending can be cut without hurting our seniors. She said she'd submit my comments :-/

— Rolling Meadows, 2012-12-18 09:17:47

They thanked me for the call!

— Oak Brook, 2012-12-18 09:17:57

— hoffman Estates, 2012-12-18 09:19:16

Staffer took comments and will forward. I did say I was appalled the Senator was even wavering!

— Coal Valley, 2012-12-18 09:19:45

Senator Durbin, I urge you not to support any Fiscal Cliff deal that includes cuts to Social Security. This is not a compromise, it is a concession for which there is no justification except to take retirement income from poor and middle-class Americans, who need it the most, and transfer it to wealthy Americans who need it the least. It is a despicable act of those who have no compassion or conscience and no limit to greed.

— Skokie, 2012-12-18 09:21:24

Staffer took a message and asked for a zipcode. Cuts to medicaid mean even less access to mental healthcare for those in financial need. Not to mention kids with chronic heath conditions like type 1 diabetes. Why would the President want to strike such a deal?!

— , 2012-12-18 09:21:26

They just took the call and thanked me.

— Villa Park, 2012-12-18 09:22:41

— Hoffman Estates, 2012-12-18 09:29:17

This is my second call in as many days. Last time, I was told the Senator had not taken a position on cuts to Social Security , Medicare or Medicaid.

The person who ask didn't know yet and couldn't say.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 10:08:37

PLease keep social security and all support programs for the weakest in our society in place.

Please stand firm and fight hard for the middle class. The Republicans haven't changed;they are determined to get what they want. We need you and others to fight for us, not take us back to the "Can You See Them Sue" days. We need help!!!

— Westville, 2012-12-18 10:11:17

A woman answered the phone, asked for my zip code, and said they'd note my concern and pass the information onto the Senator.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 10:12:03

How are the Seniors and the Handicapped people suppose to live. If there are cuts in the Social Security benefits the Seniors/Handicapped won't be able to survive nor live. Especially since the cost of living expenses has increased to the fullest.

— Orland Hills, 2012-12-18 10:12:42

An aide said the Senator has no comment at this time when I asked what his position was to cutting Social security. He said he would pass my comments on to the Senator and asked for my Zip code number.

The line went dead after I said where I was from! I may try again later.

— Urbana, 2012-12-18 10:19:13

I understand that Medicare and Medicaid may have to be altered because medical costs are out of control - but to hear that Social Security is going to be cut is horrible. For many of us, it's all we have. I've been working since I was 11, contributing to it. This is a slap in the face to the average worker.

— Ravenswood, 2012-12-18 10:19:56

Whoever answered the phone said he hasn't made any statement yet and has no comment but he would pass my concerns along. SURE!

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 10:27:15

I left comment that said I was "furious" that Obama and Dick Durbin were considering cuts to Social Security when Social Security did not contribute to the Deficit. Staffer simply took my Zip code and sais he would "give senator the message"

— Wauconda, 2012-12-18 10:28:36

The person that answered his phone said that he does not know what Durbin's position on this is. The person answering the phone said he would give my concern to the senator. He took my name and zip code and then thanked me for calling.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 10:31:53

It went to voice mail.

— Ravenswood, 2012-12-18 10:32:06

Spoke to a staffer and he will let the senator know my position

— Lake forest, 2012-12-18 10:34:34

Please Senator Durbin don't let them touch our Social Security benefits. Our checks do not meet the current needs as it stand today. Food prices, insurance, medical cost lodging etc. have skyrocketed out of control. Please do not let this deal pass. We are praying for you and everyone in need. God Bless James and Sandra

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 10:37:08

I told the Senator's aide that I did not want him to accept a bill that would reduce Social Security benefits.

— East Dubuque, 2012-12-18 10:40:07

I spoke to the person who answered the phone in Senator Durbin's office and he said that he would pass my message on to the senator. I told him to tell the senator to please stand up for no cuts to Social Security. He said that he keeps track of all of the calls and passes the messages on to the senator.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 10:40:18

Do not change benifits for SS. Rais the wage cap for contribution.

— oswego, 2012-12-18 10:41:30

— , 2012-12-18 10:49:46

A staffer told me that he would pass my comments onto the Senstor.

— Oak Park, 2012-12-18 10:50:35

Spoke to an assistant and when I told her what I was calling about - not making a deal to cut SS, etc and not continuing the bush tax cuts to the rich - she asked if I had read somewhere a comment that Durbin had made and I said NO but I understand he is one of many senators who have not made a decision yet - and I want him to be there for us and for all the money we have put in to SS and how Obama and the Dem Party said no more tax cuts for the rich - they need to keep their word. She said she would pass this along for myself and my husband and only asked for our zip code, didn't want any names. I am concerned which way he will go with this if it comes to a vote.

— Lakeview, 2012-12-18 10:51:17

The number is no longer in service. So I googled Senator Dubin's site and sent him the following email: Do you commit to oppose any benefit cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid?" Us seniors on low fixed incomes are having a hard time, especially with taxes going up. Many have lost their homes and if there are benefit cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, the situation will become worse. DO NOT commit to these benefit cuts. Support you senior constituants!

— Glencoe, 2012-12-18 10:54:35

I'll give the senator the message

— Woodstock, 2012-12-18 10:57:34

"i'll pass it on", said a very frazzled young man.

— Glenview, 2012-12-18 10:58:25

They would forward my message to Senator Durbin.

— Gurnee, 2012-12-18 10:59:53

Social Security is not the reason for the deficit. An irresponsible congress is!

— New Lenox, 2012-12-18 11:02:28

I will pass this message along to the Senator was the receptionist's response to me

— Park Ridge, 2012-12-18 11:03:31

The person who answered said that Sen Durbin would be given my message. Oh, and he said to have a great day.

— Belleville, 2012-12-18 11:03:58

The clerk said that she woulkd let Senator Durbin know about my call.

— Saint Marys, 2012-12-18 11:04:47

They seemed overwhelmed but I'm pretty sure Sen Durbin is on the right side in this

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 11:08:59

They said they would give Senator Durbin the message.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 11:09:40

I receive Medicare but I still pay $100+ per month for that benefit as well as an additional $2,000 +/- per year for supplemental and prescription coverage. I do not consider this an entitlement since I have paid in since the beginning and I pay almost $4000 per year for total coverage.

— Olympia Fields, 2012-12-18 11:09:41

Got the same response as most others: the senator "hasn't released a statement on the issue." But they were polite and happy to take my message that I oppose any "deal" that would cut Social Security in any way, especially if that deal also includes continuing tax cuts for the wealthy.

— St Charles, 2012-12-18 11:10:09

He'll be given the message.

— Newton, 2012-12-18 11:10:22

They said they would pass on my concerns to the Senator. I also emailed him the same message from his web page.

— Bloomington, 2012-12-18 11:10:51

They said they will submit my concerns

— SPRINGFIELD, 2012-12-18 11:14:06

I spoke to a female in the office and left my message. She promised to pass along my thoughts to Senator Durbin.

— Morton, 2012-12-18 11:14:33

Senator Durbin wasn't in, but I did leave a message asking him to please don't let them mess wth our social security benefits, don't cut our money, that we have worked hard for, Obama had promise us that he would tax the people making over 250.000, now it looks like that promise has changed and now he uped it to $400,00, what about us people making on 25,000 or less, what are our cuts as far as taxes goes.

— chicago, 2012-12-18 11:14:40

Woman who answered said she'd pass on message to the Senator.

— Lake Forest, 2012-12-18 11:23:24

Aid said " the senator has not issued a statement on his willingness to include SS in fiscal cliff talks" I urged him to not let the people who put him in office down by forcing seniors to pay for the abuses of wall street. He will loose our support.

— Algonquin, 2012-12-18 11:24:38

will inform the Senator of my opposition to any cuts in SSA

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 11:25:30

Left a message with one of his staffers that said she would pass the message on to him. She was very nice and understanding.

— BOLINGBROOK, 2012-12-18 11:26:01

Durbin 'has said' that he would not support SS cuts, but the person answering did not know if there is a new position now that negotiations are ongoing.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 11:27:55

Senator Dick Durban say he is not supporting any short term cuts and doesn't agree with the cuts to the Bush 2 percent but I felt a little suspicious that the answers were a little vague

— Crystal Lake, 2012-12-18 11:29:34

A recorded answering service from Sen. Durbin. I left a message that I expect him keep Social Security off the table.

— Glenview, 2012-12-18 11:32:26

Dear Mr. Means: Thank you for contacting me regarding raising the Social Security retirement age. I appreciate hearing from you. As millions of Baby Boomers enter retirement over the next decade, we need to maintain our commitment to seniors by protecting the solvency of the Social Security trust fund. I am troubled by proposals that would undermine the promise Congress made to provide financial stability to retirees and seniors. The Social Security system is currently generating a surplus in tax revenues. However, its board of trustees projects that the trust fund will be depleted by 2033. This is a challenge, but not a crisis. While reforms are necessary to ensure the survival of this program, reforms must be sensible and not a risky overhaul of the program. I have consistently worked with a bipartisan group of my colleagues to craft a balanced plan for controlling our federal deficits. In the past, I supported the Bowles-Simpson Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform’s proposal, which would make Social Security solvent for the next 75 years by increasing the taxable earnings base upon which Social Security taxes are collected and by incrementally raising the retirement age to 69 by 2075. However, I do not support any plan that does not include protections for our most vulnerable and those with hardship cases. I will keep your concerns in mind as I work with my colleagues to find commonsense, bipartisan solutions to preserve adequate funding for the Social Security trust fund in order to honor our commitment to the more than 55 million current Social Security beneficiaries and to our future generations of retirees.

— Oswego, 2012-12-18 11:33:53

spoke with the office

— lombard, 2012-12-18 11:34:45

— Algonquin, 2012-12-18 11:35:44

Spoke with staffer who said he would deliver the message.

— John Buchanan, 2012-12-18 11:39:51

The man in Mr. Durbin's office asked for our zip code and said he would pass it on.

Senator Durbin, we as a people cannot afford to have cuts to our social security, we can barley make it as it is and some people are suffin. please no cuts to social security.

— Waterloo, 2012-12-18 13:06:32

We worked and contributed to Social Securty and also our employers contributed. Am asking you not to vote to cut more again. It is all we have for some many senior citizens who worked long before a Ira,401 or pension was available. Thank you

— , 2012-12-18 13:06:58

Left message saying that this is my money and they have not right to cut my benefits. Whose going to make up the difference? The part time job that I can't get because I'm not in the right age bracket.

— Rochelle Park, 2012-12-18 13:07:49

I also spoke with staffer, who agreed to "submit my comments." But I had to dial twice. Which is unusual calling his office. Would guess that we are as a group keeping their phones ringing on this one. Good work to all!

— Libertyville, 2012-12-18 13:08:53

Young lady I spoke to refused to give me her name when asked, stating they don't for security purposes. I asked her to please not my demand for "Filibuster reform, and she said Sen. Durbin, Is In Strong Favor of This Reform," and 2)Not allow any changes to Social Security Benefits or plans-she said they are taking no action until they have definitive information in front of them to review."

— Vernon Hills, 2012-12-18 13:10:02

His aide said that he is going to review the situation once a deal is made. Senator Durbin was reported saying that he is against Social Security cuts.

— Aurora, 2012-12-18 13:18:01

They did not say what the senator would do about it. I did speak also Senator Bernie Sanders office of Vermont where I went to graduate school and they are going to fight it. I knew that Obama was not to be trusted. He need not have done a thing, simply let it lapse. he just want the republicans to take the heat for doing what he wants.

— wgeaton, 2012-12-18 13:19:38

Thanked me for call, took my zip code Said something about a letter.

— chicago, 2012-12-18 13:22:32

— Chicago Lawn, 2012-12-18 13:23:21

They said they would pass on my concerns to Senator Durbin.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 13:23:52

Spoke to staffer. I was told my concerns would be passed on to the senator. I told them that I would rather go off the fiscal cliff then to give in.

— mount carroll, 2012-12-18 13:24:05

Didn't talk to anyone and when I tried to leave a message I was cut-off.

— Worden, 2012-12-18 13:24:44

The in identified woman answering my call of protest said nothing, offered nothing in the way of words affirming or dis-affirming the terms of the possible social security cuts and continued reductions in taxation of the ultra wealthy. She asked for my zip code and thanked me for the call. What happened to President Obama's resolve that carried his words to my sense of promise to my struggle as a lower-middle class American citizen, born and raised, and now sinking, in the muttle of broken words?

— Cary, 2012-12-18 13:25:01

Also mentioned we wanted the president to lead the way to a ban on assault weapons and Sen Durbin to support him.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 13:26:10

Said he was not involved in the talks. I told them I was not invited to the party as republicans put 8 billion on a truck and all that were invited had a party with the money.

— Arlington Heights, 2012-12-18 13:27:02

Has not decided how he's voting on the most recent proposal.

— Glenview, 2012-12-18 13:27:45

Spoke with a staffer who just said "ok" to my comments that I did not want the senator to make any deals that would compromise SS or medicare - let the tax cuts expire if that is what it takes.

— Woodridge, 2012-12-18 13:28:21

The Administrative Representative who I spoke with said "Senator Durbin continues to fully oppose cuts to Social Security benefits as part of ANY & ALL legislative action". Consequently, I sincerely hope that I was being told the truth by Senator Durbin's Administrative Representative!!!

SS is not an entitlement. I PAID FOR T

— evanston, 2012-12-18 13:32:18

Left a voice mail message, which timed out rather quickly, before the end of my message. But I had time to ask for NO soc sec cuts.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 13:33:30

Don't screw up Social Security that was set up by the democrats.

— Alsip, 2012-12-18 13:33:32

I was told that the senator had made statements that he was against cuts to social security before the presidents announcement today, regarding changes to the cost of living index used for social security and that he is not released a statement yet regarding the latest proposal. They also said that the senator was against making any cuts to Medicaid or Medicare before the physical cliff, but was open to discussions after the fiscal cliff is over "regarding savings that would that would guarantee the solvency of the programs."

— chicago, 2012-12-18 13:34:12

spoke with aid who will pass on my comments. Left her my name address and zip. Asked her to tell the Senator to stand strong with progressives. That's why we elected him.

— Riverwoods, 2012-12-18 13:34:26

The aide said she would give the Senator the message. Scott AFB, IL

— Oak Lawn, 2012-12-18 13:37:51

Will pass the message on

— River Forest, 2012-12-18 13:39:59

I spoke to a staffer who said Durbin hasn't released "a statement yet." I tried to drill her a new butt hole by talking about failed promises (lies) by Obama, Reid, Durbin and pelosi's promises to not cave (the continuing democratic posture)on the entitlements. I also explained that sliding over the fiscal 'slope' is the best strategy for the dems. Her reply was, "I'll let Mr. Durbin know."

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 13:40:45

I was thanked for the call, but got on concrete response.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 13:41:44

I reached an office staffer who made no commitment for Senator Durbin.

— Charleston, 2012-12-18 13:41:52

Could only leave a message after several attempts.

— East Peoria, 2012-12-18 13:43:16

Will report my comments to the Senator, which stated that we need our leaders to lead and not to just protect a select few, risking monetary deduction for the elderly and sick (many who have paid into Social Security so that they would be secure after retirement).

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 13:43:19

call made at 3:44 pm from 773.216.0022

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 13:44:52

I called Sen. Durbin's Office in Carbondale, Il at 618-351-1122 and asked that my message be relayed to him at3:50 pm12/18/12

— east st. louis, 2012-12-18 13:50:30

They said thank you for your comments.

— West Dundee, 2012-12-18 13:50:46

I left a message with the young lady who answered the phone. She said she would pass it on.

— Willow Springs, 2012-12-18 13:51:12

They will report my concerns and thanked me for my call. I also mentioned that I am from a community he has visited many times since we house a university in the town. The staff person was polite, but was only reporting to him the information that I stated.

— Macomb, 2012-12-18 13:52:03

Woman at office said he is for the tax cuts for the 2% expiring so they'll pay for taxes. As to social security, medicare and medicaid she said he hasn't issued a statement. I told her to tell him that I am for no cuts to those.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 13:52:47

Don"t forget da promise you made about socail security not to mess with it no matter what, let"s not let the republican change what we are against. Social security is taxpayers money for people, myself win i worked i paid way more than my share as a retired gm worker.

— Danville, 2012-12-18 13:58:21

I STATED I'M 64, I DON'T NEED TO MAKE MY LIFE LESS!!!!!!

— Roselle, 2012-12-18 13:58:57

I stated that nothing should be done to Social Security until we have at least eliminated the cap on salaries for contributions. The office responded, they will pass my request onto the senator.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 14:01:00

She Sid she would pass the info onto the senator

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 14:01:12

Spoke with Senator's office woman who answered the phone and said she will let the Senator know. I said: NO cuts to Social Security. NO cuts to medicare. We need to make medicare more efficient, remove fraud. The rich must pay more -- they need to be patriotic Americans and pay for children, schools, roads, bridges, etc. Chicago

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 14:03:08

I said EVERY dollar earned by any means MUST pay SS. Percent paid can be reduced above say $150,000 & again at $2 Million. Company percentage stops at say $80,000. Payout capped at the average wage. Minimum payout = poverty level.

— Rockford, 2012-12-18 14:03:27

I was told by Emma that my concerns would be passed on to Sen. Durbin!!!

— Westmont, 2012-12-18 14:04:06

Cutting the cost of living adjustment for Social Security is absurd & TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. S.S. is not contributing to the deficit or debt, and is therefore not part of the deficit problem and should not be messed with as part of deficit reduction. Reducing the adjustment will quickly hurt seniors—badly over a short period of time. Emma at Wash. D.C. office said that my objection would be given to Sen. Durbin.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 14:12:52

I asked that he not agree to any deals that would cut social security, medicare or medicaid, and that I would rather we just go over the cliff. They said they would "pass it along" to him.

— Evanston, 2012-12-18 14:13:16

the secretary stated she would make sure he received the message.

— Swansea, 2012-12-18 14:13:43

The woman just asked for my zipcode and acknowledged my call.

— Park ridge, 2012-12-18 14:15:13

The voice mail came on during normal business hours, asking that I "hang up and try your call later, as we are experiencing high call volume."

— Hazel Crest, 2012-12-18 14:17:32

Spoke with staffer, they will pass on comments to the Senator.

— Joliet, 2012-12-18 14:19:36

She said the senator has not announced his position on the cuts.

— Springfield, 2012-12-18 14:19:55

Can't get through. Won't let me leave message. I tried.

— Lincoln Park, 2012-12-18 14:20:18

representative took the message

— Orland Hills, 2012-12-18 14:21:16

Called listed Phone Number at 4:17PM December 18, 2012 and when answered, "Sentor Durbins office," the person just listened to what I had to say offering nothing, but yer ear. I did not get a name, but did ask that thhe Sentor call back in the morning tomorrow to which I also suggested that is the first thing that he will do and a zip code was taken and the call was terminated with the salutory, "have a nice day."

— Skokie, 2012-12-18 14:23:31

I"ll deliver your message. Thanks a lot.

— Evanston, 2012-12-18 14:24:22

staff person stated Durbin has not stated his public position yet; I couldn't elicit anything further.

— Evanston, 2012-12-18 14:24:34

I was told that my message would be passed on to the senator.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 14:25:45

They didn't even ask my name so I called in 2 more times and spoke to other people.

— chicago, 2012-12-18 14:27:11

Per Emma at the above number, "I will pass on your request to the senator. He has not yet made a decision on President Obama's proposal."

— Rockford, 2012-12-18 14:27:12

I said I hope he fights as hard as necessary to stop cuts to Social Security, including opposing use of the chained CPI. Staffer says he opposes the deal.

— Evanston, 2012-12-18 14:28:28

They didn't say what the senator was planning to do. I told them the Social Security wasn't an entitlement...I've paid into Social Security all my working life and when I retire in a few years I expect what I've always been told I'd get for having paid in. Don't mess with my retirement. Screw up your own but leave mine alone.

— Winthrop Harbor, 2012-12-18 14:29:27

I sent an email message.

— Zion, 2012-12-18 14:29:39

I called and asked that he support no cuts to Social Security. It's not an entitlement...I paid in all my working life and I expect the managers of the governments business to hold fast and fix this without cutting my benefits. They can cut their own benefits but leave mine alone.

— , 2012-12-18 14:32:14

As a 20 yr. retired Army officer, I asked that Obama slash the Defense Budget, and not SSI. I believe I know more about foreign affairs, than does Mr. Durbin.

— markham, 2012-12-18 14:33:03

Said that Senator Durbin's position is that a fiscal cliff deal should not include any cuts to Social Security.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 14:33:38

I said that any budget cuts should be cuts to the military, since our military budget is greater than the military budget of the next 15 nations combined. There must be no cuts to Social Security and Medicare.

— West Chicago, 2012-12-18 14:34:43

The Senator was not in his office, so a staff member said that she would pass my message on to the Senator. She said the Senator has not officialy stated his position on cutting Medicare. He is going to release his position soon.

— Des Plaines, 2012-12-18 14:35:50

Spoke with staffer who said he would pass the message on.

— Alton, 2012-12-18 14:39:05

An aide answered and I requested that he give a message to Senator Durbin to not make any deals that will mean cuts to social security and medicare benefits.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 14:42:13

person answering phone"I will pass the message on to Sen. Durbin!"

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 14:42:40

The Senator was not available. He was on the senate floor. The person who I spoke with said the Senstor has not released a statement and she would pass my message on to him.

— Los Angeles, 2012-12-18 14:49:10

Senator Durbin social security should not be touched in any manner. Stand up against these republican-tea baggers because their only wish is to destroy America. I served this country in NAM and it hurts me deeply to see what they are during to IT. The election gave you all,DEMOCRATS,a mandate for the people not for just 2% of the people.Make the late great SENATOR PAUL SIMON proud...STAND STRONG,STAND FIRM.

— westville, 2012-12-18 14:52:47

I spoke with the staffer explaining the urgency of this matter

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 14:54:11

WILL PASS ON THE MESSAGE

— , 2012-12-18 14:54:38

Social Security and Medicare are EARNED BENEFITS, not entitlements! SO stop calling them entitlements. I EARNED THEM. I am 70 and have paid into SS and Medicare for more than 40 years. Cut defense spending. Cut your retirement. Cut your health care. What's good for seniors and the disabled is good for you too. I don't hear you talking about your benefits. NO GRAND BARGAIN! The GOP is taking this country down to 3rd world status. I don't care if Boehner needs to save face, too bad. GROW A SPINE -- NO GRAND BARGAIN -- NO CUTS TO SS -- NO CUTS TO MEDICARE

— Orland Park, 2012-12-18 14:58:24

Spoke with staffer and he will pass on request to senator

— Frankfort, 2012-12-18 15:01:49

Staff spokesperson said Durbin had not made a statement regarding his views on this matter. She indicated that my thoughts would be passed on to Durbin.

— Wildwood, 2012-12-18 15:06:33

I spoke with Internal, Evan Alban at 5:50 p.m. and he said that Senator Dick Durbin has not made an official stance. However, Durbin said that he hopes that medicare and social security would stay off the table.

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 15:08:57

Senator durbin please do everything to stop the cut on ssi benefits?I am a veteren and I just started by benefits

— chicago, 2012-12-18 15:11:53

Staffer said Durbin has made lots of comments on this issue, but that he did not want to cut social security or any earned benefit this year. Let open the possibility for negotiating changes in the future and believes the system must be reformed.

— Cabery, 2012-12-18 15:12:16

DO NOT allow ANY CUTS to Social Security, Medicare , or Medicaid under ANY circumstances

— Braidwod, 2012-12-18 15:43:30

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 16:26:09

I called the Senator's office at 7:25pm on Dec 18, but the office was closed. Ihoped there was a voicemail option, but there wasn't. I'm going to call tomorrow during regular business hours.

— Wellington, 2012-12-18 16:27:15

I got an email in response to previous communication with his office. This was his response to me yesterday: "I have consistently worked with a bipartisan group of my colleagues to craft a balanced plan for controlling our federal deficits. However, I do not support any plan that does not include protections for our most vulnerable and those with hardship cases." Needless to say, I was not pleased with his support of raising the age of Social Security yet again. I will contact his office once again.

— Belleville, 2012-12-18 16:31:07

— Villa Park, 2012-12-18 16:48:36

— Commerce Twp, 2012-12-18 16:51:05

Social security should not even be on the table how about we put congress's salaries and pensions on the bargaining table they are not deserved and way to high that would be justified taking from what we paid all our lives for is NOT gonna work for US.

— Wood River, 2012-12-18 16:52:28

Your a coward if you let them cut social security and will vote opposite party if you let this happen .Just to repay your betrayal

— , 2012-12-18 16:55:44

busy- no answer will try later

— EAST HAZEL CREST, 2012-12-18 16:58:32

I was not able to make a call so I sent an email to Senator Durbin.

— Plainfield, 2012-12-18 17:21:27

To late in the evening to call but I am wondering, after watching tonights news braodcast, why the wealthy in this country are finding it hard to pay more and the poor people on SS are asked to continue living (if you can call it that) on SS that will NOT go up with the future cost of living expenses. Is this country so divided that the 'rich' are clueless? No wonder kids today act so 'entitled'...they see the sucessful being just that way!

— Carbondale, 2012-12-18 17:23:11

Durbin does not support putting SS on the table no matter what. Thanks.

— Franklin Park, 2012-12-18 17:51:40

Come on man. I'm 56 years old now. Lost most of my retirement in the last downturn. Do I have to work until I die or until I'm not able to due to medical reasons. Leave Social Security alone. Kill the D.E.A. They have lost the war in case noone in Washington D.C. has noticed.

— Lake In the Hills, 2012-12-18 18:13:59

No answer. No voicemailbox to leave a message. Was asked to call back due to high call volume.

— Melrose park, 2012-12-18 18:25:03

I called him earlier today. I was told that my comments would be passed on to the senator. It is not him however, that is the major problem it is the two-faced behavior of the president who is less a democrat than any I have ever met. He is no Progressive and cannot be trusted.

— Wheaton, 2012-12-18 18:41:03

office closed and no way to leave a message

— University Pk, 2012-12-18 18:43:51

— Oak Park, 2012-12-18 20:36:08

I did not get to talk to him, they said the lines were non-stop busy I hope with the same message I left. They said they weren't dealing with that until later. What? Unbelievable! I will call again tomorrow.

— Bartlett, 2012-12-18 20:45:47

December 17, 2012 Dear Dr. Wright-Pryor: Thank you for contacting me regarding raising the Social Security retirement age. Thank you again for contacting me. Please keep in touch. Sincerely, Richard J. Durbin United States Senator RJD/sl

— Chicago, 2012-12-18 21:42:56

I called and spoke to a female staffer and asked why Durbin has not taken a strong stance on this matter. She said that Obama just came out yesterday with a different deal and Durbin has not had time to read it over yet. I told her that he should not have to read anything over; it should be cut and dry, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. No deal on cutting SS, Medicare, medicaid - period. He should come out strong on this! I also said the 1% needs to pay their fair share and we are all sick of this crap!

I said not to have Social Security and Medicare (that are EARNED BENEFITS not entitlements) as part of any deal, that they have not added one cent to the national debt and that they were pension/insurance plans supported by their own and independent tax stream. Even President Reagan knew that and said so when he had a deficit. I worked for Obama and other Democrats for over a month to get them re-elected and elected and want you to do what you all promise. These programs have nothing to do with the deficit and better stop being included in the bargaining…NOW!

— Wilmette, 2012-12-19 09:09:52

Spoke to a live person, told him I am 63 years old and busted my ass for many years and a life long Dem and I am tired of seeing my party bend to the wills of people like Mr. Bonner. Let them expire. We should not cave in for the benefits of a few ultra rich.

— Prospect Heights, 2012-12-19 09:39:12

The message would be passed along to him.

— Glenwood, 2012-12-19 09:41:31

No response; they didn't know his stance on the deal.

— Chicago, 2012-12-19 09:49:57

Spoke with staffer. I said I am on SS Disability and Mom with dementia is on SS. We can't get by now and cuts would be devastating. Take the money from Farm bill, aid to other countries, defense, anything but SS, SSI, Medicare, Medicaid. They said "okay, thank you.

— Palatine, 2012-12-19 09:53:14

Person who answered the phone said "I will submit your comments."

— Chicago, 2012-12-19 10:07:31

Left message with a live staff member!

— Davis, 2012-12-19 10:12:37

I spoke directly with his office and ask that he not support any cuts to Social Security and Medicare; especially with Boehner's immovable concessions on the right!

— Edwardsville, 2012-12-19 10:17:14

They only asked for my zip code.

— Highland Pk., 2012-12-19 10:26:36

no cuts to program for seniors

— batavia, 2012-12-19 10:27:48

I asked that Senator Durbin NOT support any fical cliff deal that includes cuts to Social Security and/or Medicare. Social Security does not add to the national debt!

— Fort Russell, 2012-12-19 10:40:25

staffer said Durbin was against any cuts to SS & Medicare a few weeks ago. Doesn't know what his position is today.

— Chicago, 2012-12-19 10:50:01

Said my opinion would be passed on to the Senator, but currently he is opposed to any cuts to soc security benefits.

— elmhurst, 2012-12-19 10:53:25

Will pass on my concerns. Spoke to staffer.

— St Charles, 2012-12-19 11:08:52

senator Durbin was not available. The person who took my message said that he does not have a statement from the senator on this matter. But he will pass my message to the senator

— Elgin, 2012-12-19 11:15:07

I asked the rep onthe phone to tell the senator to stick to his promiss not to change ss in any way and not to suport the driferent way of calucating the cost of living adjustments.

— Des Plaines, 2012-12-19 11:27:31

the perfect solution..cut OFF ALL congress pay AND medicla until this over the cliff stuff is cleared for. May rules that apply for all on even playing ground.

— Chicago, 2012-12-19 11:50:50

Got an aide who listened dispassionately. Said he would pass on my comments. Asked for my zip, but not my name. or city I am not pleased with the response. Champaign

— Champaign, 2012-12-19 12:00:45

I called yesterday .

— bartlett, 2012-12-19 12:01:28

I tried twice but I was told to try again later as they were experiencing high call volume.

— CHICAGO, 2012-12-19 12:06:50

Due to high rate of calls recorder said to call back. I will call back

— Litchfield, 2012-12-19 12:29:07

Thank you for the call

— Flossmoor, 2012-12-19 12:44:46

A was transferred to an aid...this was my call after I left message. Reassured that senator was pro ss and mdcr and doesn't feel it should be bargaining point. Also talked of stricter gun control and easier accessability to mental health treatments. She said he is very involved inboth those issues. 10 min call. Good call.

— streamwood, 2012-12-19 12:56:39

Spoke to an admin. She said senator durbin is not in favor and that is one suggestion on the table.

— Chicago, 2012-12-19 12:57:31

I talked with a very courteous staff member, who took my name, zip code & said she'd pass my feeling along to Dick. I'm definitely against the chaining concept of calculating inflation. Fruthermore, medical care costs are either absent or under represented in most col's. And medical care is rising faster than most other costs and is a significant component of living cost for most seniors.

— Evanston, 2012-12-19 13:31:55

Talked to staff member. He claimed that Durbin said yesterday (12/18) that 'chained CPI' is a move backwards.

— McHenry, 2012-12-19 13:34:25

Richton Park IL,Jeffery leave our social security alone.

— Richton Park, 2012-12-19 13:35:38

Staffer said Senator Durbin is opposed to any cuts in benefits and they should not be part of Fiscal Cliff Deal. Stated negotiation is currently occurring between the president and the speaker.

— Wheaton, 2012-12-19 13:39:17

Kept trying and got through. Young man listened to me and said that the Senator was a supporter of SS and Medicare, and has stated that the chained CPI was a step backwards.

— Shorewood, 2012-12-19 13:58:02

Dick Durbin's office said they would pass the message on. I stated specifically that I do not want any cuts to Social Security because it has nothing to do with the budget. Don't touch Medicare or Medicaid. In addition I expressed my desire to go off the cliff. Above all do not allow a threat of stopping the debt ceiling influence your decisions now.

— Round Lake Beach, 2012-12-19 14:26:36

Spoke w/admin. staff. She assured me that the Senator will not support any cuts to any entitlement programs. Asked her specifically about the CPI-E proposal for SS, and she reiterated that he will not support ANY cuts to entitlements.

— Geneva, 2012-12-19 14:28:19

I was told that my request would be forwarded to Sen. Durbin. My zip code was requested.

— Park Forest, 2012-12-19 14:41:18

do not cut our Social Security. We are all on the cliff already.

— Frankfort, 2012-12-19 17:45:46

Assistant answered the phone and said that she would relay my message.

— Buffalo Grove, 2012-12-19 20:04:37

I left a message with a young woman who answered the phone in Durbin's office. I also said that I am a recent teacher retiree in Illinois and that retired teachers are under attack here to lose Cola and/or insurance and we do not get Social Security in the state of Illinois. So, my teacher pension which is modest, and my husband's Social Security is all we have to live on. Please protect us! The young lady said she would pass on the message.

— Valley View, 2012-12-20 06:48:59

said he would do what he could supports it. asked for my zip code

— galena, 2012-12-20 06:59:52

Staff just took the message

— Stickney, 2012-12-20 07:07:28

Senator Durbin Please don’t give the republicans anything. The people of this country spoke in the recent election they are behind the president, now you get behind him. You and I both know going over the imaginary fiscal cliff is a bunch of baloney, it will only reflect on the very rich and will reflect little on the middle class.

— Warrenville, 2012-12-20 07:18:34

Please older folks are living on the edge now please don't make it worse by agreeing to this

— Bloomingdale, 2012-12-20 07:21:57

I saw you on TVI know I can count on you!!! thanks

— Ottawa, 2012-12-20 07:26:30

In addition to calling I also sent an email to the senator to let him know that I was opposed to any cuts to social security

— Chicago, 2012-12-20 07:47:21

don't know if it was recorded.

— Chicago, 2012-12-20 08:09:07

I spoke with a staff person who agreed to pass along my request that the Senator remain strong and not cave in to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid cuts.

— Palatine, 2012-12-20 08:12:42

Why is it that everytime there is a cut, it has to be to some program that poor and middle class benefit from? I could think of tons of things to cut first, how about all the subsides to the oil companies just for starters. Why is it always us who have to suffer, while the rich and corporations take their profit overseas and never suffer for doing that. They are traitors and yet they get all the hands off when it come to cuts of any kind. Stand up for America for a change and do something about them shouldering some of the providing for the government. Poor and middle class can't do it all.

— Macomb, 2012-12-20 08:21:55

I spoke to Evan and relayed the message of no cuts to social security and medicare and to stand firm on the 250,000 tax cuts.

— Pontoon Beach, 2012-12-20 08:44:07

I have called at least 4 times and all I get is a message to call back because they are experiencing a lot of calls. I don't even get an answering machine. Hopefully others are reaching him. Is there an email we can send to?

— Wilmette, 2012-12-20 09:04:02

I paid into the systems and it should be ready to pay me back. No cuts, changes in calculations, or benefits.

— Bloomington, 2012-12-20 09:07:50

No cuts, changes, new calculations. I paid in and Congress needs to honor what they said. This is NOT part of the budget that needs to be cut.

— Covell, 2012-12-20 09:09:33

Please don't let them make cuts in Social Security. I can't even keep up with my bills now. There will be plenty more homeless people out in the streets than there are now. Also, those making 250 thousand dollars or more a year don't need those tax cuts, unless they are living far above their needs.

— richmond, 2012-12-20 09:28:27

This was not the brightest of staffers to answer the phone. When I asked where the senator stood, he didn't know!

— northbrook, 2012-12-20 09:40:29

told the secretary to tell Sen. durbin not to let anyone to take out of retirement (social security). Sec asked for my zip code

— west frankfort, 2012-12-20 09:45:34

— Calumet City, 2012-12-20 10:12:00

— Fond Du Lac, 2012-12-20 10:20:02

we paid the money the in so that is our money pleasedo not be cuttingour pay checks, it is hard enough too live out here the way it is thank you Jim

— , 2012-12-20 10:30:52

The person answering the phone offered to pass the message along. I also emphasized that Social Security Medicare and other programs that help people in need are not the only places to cut the budget! Why isn't anybody talking about other areas of spending that could be reduced without such disastrous effects!

— Chicago, 2012-12-20 10:55:56

Tried to leave a message but there was no beep to tell me when to talk.

— Jackson Park, 2012-12-20 11:10:25

The staffer I talked to said she would pass on the request to Senator Durbin

— 3550 North Lake Shore Drive apt 2628 Chicago, 2012-12-20 11:11:13

Spoke with a courteous aide who listened patiently to my (probably) rambling request to leave Social Security and Medicare alone, asked for my zip code, then said she would pass along my comment to the Senator.

— Itasca, 2012-12-20 11:15:05

report comments to senator

— Henry Mcgee, 2012-12-20 11:28:11

Lady in Durbin's office answered the phone and I made my statement to her about what I wanted Senator Durbin to do about stopping the deal that cuts SS benefits...following that she said they have received thousands of calls. Following that, she requested my zip codea and said she would be adding my call to messages for the senator.

— Urbana, 2012-12-20 11:41:41

They said they would forward my concerns and they asked for my zip code.

— Swansea, 2012-12-20 11:45:30

I have little faith that Senator Durbin will fight for the middle class and help the 98%. He has been in office too long and this is his "career" and he has forgotten to help and serve the People.

— Chicago, 2012-12-20 12:06:51

Said no position on CHained CPI yet or benefit cuts yet I Indicated STRONG disapproval, that as contributor and life long strong Democrat I would feel betrayed by such a vote

— Evanston , 2012-12-20 12:11:50

I told the staff person that the Senator should stick with his promises that Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid were off the table, and that the Bush tax rate cuts would expire for those earning over $250,000. And that he should tell the President to remember his similar promises. She said she would would "submit my comments."

— Inverness, 2012-12-20 13:06:33

Spoke with aide and she said she will pass on my comments & feelings to the Senator.

— Scottsdale, 2012-12-20 13:10:41

No commmitment. I left a message that we need a floor and cannot give any more ground.

— Antioch, 2012-12-20 13:52:14

line busy or voice mail full

— Chicago, 2012-12-20 13:54:15

I was told, by a young man in Senator Durbin's office in D.C. that the senator had been and will be consistently agaist any cuts to Social Security, Medicare and/or Medicaid, and that we could expect him to remain so...

— Christohper, 2012-12-20 14:00:21

— Wheaton, 2012-12-20 14:33:53

Spoke with an Aide. They took the message.

— Berwyn, 2012-12-20 15:13:38

would not allow message due to off hours

— chicago, 2012-12-20 16:16:53

They took the message. Do you really think the voice of the public matters here or on many issues, we are NOT really a democratic society after all. The elect make decesions and we are stuck with them!

— Arlington Hts, 2012-12-20 16:25:13

Do what we the people wan T and need.

— Chicago, 2012-12-20 17:13:22

I talked to his office stuff and she told me that she will submit my comment to senator Durbin.

— Chicago, 2012-12-20 22:14:07

The person on the phone said she would deliver my comments.

— Chicago, 2012-12-21 07:14:37

The gentleman I spoke with said that Senator Durbin is working on protecting social security and medicare and will pass my message along to him.

— Niles, 2012-12-21 07:42:58

Said that Durbin has opposed these cuts in the past but with so many proposals on the table, couldn't say for sure how he was going to vote.

— Norridge, 2012-12-21 08:30:43

Left message w one of his staff. His lines are busy today. Couldn't believe that he is not flat out against this ruse.

— Yuton, 2012-12-21 09:16:33

Stated my opposition to any deal that makes cuts to social security and Medicare. They asked for my zip code.

— Chicago, 2012-12-21 12:00:44

Spoke with staffer, who will "submit my comments" to the Senator.

— Chicago, 2012-12-21 12:55:41

Please stop this madness. I've paid for my social security. It's not for the government to take away. If it's already been spent, it's up to elected officials to ensure that I get what I've paid into with at a minimum cost of living increases taken into consideration instead of deductions according to your CPI calculations. I'm mad.

— Norridge, 2012-12-21 13:02:05

Will pass your comments to the Senator.

— Highland Park, 2012-12-21 13:23:39

Spoke with staffer, who will "submit my comments" to the Senator

— Schaumburg, 2012-12-21 14:10:10

I was unable to get through on the DC number provided so I called Sen. Durbin's Chicago office and left a message regarding not making any cuts in Social Security.

— Elgin, 2012-12-21 14:45:09

I used to be a democrat..well no more. I live so well on entitlements..ha ha..No money for a car, groceries, dr bills or electricity..public housing is a joke. I worked all my life too..this is entitlement? forget it.

— Waukesha, 2012-12-22 07:10:10

vote against seniors benefits cuts

— Chicago, 2012-12-25 04:13:34

— Chicago, 2012-12-26 14:12:46

Called 12/27/2012 but unable to leave a message. Machine answered, advising that due to high call volume not able to leave message and must call back. Will try again later today.

— Homewood, 2012-12-27 10:27:39

I asked that he try balancing the budget by limiting his arms do other representatives perks and entitlements that we are paying for and could really balance the budget.

— Henry Mcgee, 2013-01-23 07:39:43

No real response that meant anything.

— Alton, 2013-02-06 07:50:36
